Ike Cornish, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Legacy Charter (SC), committed to Maryland on Wednesday.

Cornish, ranked the No. 21 shooting guard in the 247Sports.com composite rankings, chose the Terps over Georgetown, Rutgers, St. John’s, Virginia Tech, and Xavier.

“They think I can fit in their play style and really be effective for their squad,” Cornish said recently of Maryland.

His older brother, Josh Cornish, recently moved to Bowie State (MD) from Southern Utah.

Ike Cornish joins power forward Julian Reece of St. Frances Academy (MD) in Maryland’s 2021 class.
