Ryan Conway, the 6-foot-1, 160-pound Class of 2021 point guard from Dulaney (MD), told ZAGSBLOG Wednesday via text that he will take an unofficial visit to Seton Hall on March 4 for their matchup against Villanova.

“I love the way they play,” Conway said on the Pirates. “They have been great with guards in the past and they get up and down the floor.”

Conway also took an unofficial visit to Vanderbilt on Jan. 18.

“The whole coaching staff was great from the minute I got there,” Conway said. “I also went to their game against Tennessee that day and spent some time with them after.”

“They talked about how they could see me fitting in with their system very well based on my abilities and how I play.”

In addition to Seton Hall and Vanderbilt, Conway also said that Rutgers, Stanford, Maryland, Marquette and Providence are among the schools working hardest for his recruitment. He broke down each school:

Rutgers: “Rutgers is showing a lot of interest. They have sent a couple coaches throughout the season. Coach Steve Pikiell offered me on my visit when I sat down and talked to him.”

Stanford: “They are showing a lot of interest as well. They offered me towards the end of the summer and their head coach [Jerod Haase] was in the gym to see me in December.”

Maryland: “They have been recruiting me for a long time. Coach Bino [Ranson] is frequently in the gym to see me. I’ve been to a few of their games over the last couple of years.”

Marquette: “They started recruiting me a little late, but they’ve been on me and the coach says he will get down to see me.”

Providence: “Their coach came to see me the other day at my game. They’re showing a lot of interest and I’m going to visit them soon.”

Conway says he plans on taking a couple official visits during the spring, but has none planned at the moment.

“Right now my recruitment is still very open,” he said. “I have one more AAU season to play before I start narrowing my options.”

According to 247Sports, Conway is ranked as the No. 146 overall player in the Class of 2021 and the No. 23 ranked point guard.
