  • Recruiting Roundup: Weekend Visits and Tidbits

    Here’s a look towards this weekend’s recruiting visits and other news. This list will be updated throughout the weekend.

    **Kansas will host a number of recruits this weekend (Oct. 4) for “Late Night in the Phog,” including 2020’s Isaiah Todd, KK Robinson, Davion Bradford and 2021’s Javonte Brown-Ferguson, Kennedy Chandler, Kendall Brown, Roosevelt Wheeler, Tamar Bates,Mark Mitchell and Gradey Dick will also be in attendance.

    **Bryce Thompson, the 6-foot-5 combo guard from Booker T. Washington (OK), will visit Kansas this weekend (Oct. 5). He will not be in attendance for Late Night in the Phog.

    **Memphis will host Memphis Madness this weekend (Oct. 3), with a number of recruits in attendance, including 2020’s Jalen Green and Chris Moore, and 2021’s Devin Askew and Mason Miller.

    Green, the 6-foot-5 combo guard from Prolific Prep (CA), visits Memphis this weekend (Oct. 2-5) for his third official visit. Green, who plans to commit on December 25, has visited Oregon (Sept. 13) and Auburn (Sept. 27).

    **Cade Cunningham, the 6-foot-6 combo guard from Montverde Academy (FL), trips to Florida this weekend (Oct. 4) for his third official visit. Cunningham, who cut his list to five in August, has taken official visits to Oklahoma State (Sept. 6) and North Carolina (Sept. 27). He also has a visit planned to Washington (Oct. 18) and is also considering Kentucky.

    **A.J. Griffin, the 6-foot-7 Class of 2021 forward from Archbishop Stepinac (NY), takes an official to Villanova after Jay Wright and Kyle Neptune saw him last week.

    **Penn State will host JUCO forward Valdir Manuel and 2021s Jadun Michael and Jordan Longino

    **Jalen Suggs, the 6-foot-5 combo guard from Minnehaha Academy (MN), takes his first official visit to Gonzaga this weekend (Oct. 4). He has no other visits planned.

    **Jaden Springer, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard from IMG Academy (FL), will take his third official visit to Tennessee this weekend (Oct. 4). Springer, who is down to a final three, has also taken official visits to Michigan (Aug. 30) and Memphis (Sept. 14).

    **Mark Williams, the 7-foot center from IMG Academy (FL), trips to Michigan this weekend (Oct. 4) for an official visit. Williams has taken an official visit to UCLA (Aug. 23) and will visit Duke (Nov. 1).

    **Gethro Muscadin, the 6-foot-10 center from Aspire Basketball (KY) Academy, takes his fourth official visit to Texas Tech this weekend (Oct. 5). Muscadin has previously taken visits to Kansas State (Sept. 7), Minnesota (Sept. 13) and Kansas (Sept. 20).

    **Andre Curbelo, the 6-foot point guard from Long Island (NY) Lutheran, trips to Miami this weekend (Oct. 4) for his first official visit. Curbelo, who is down to five schools, will also take official visits to Illinois (Oct. 18) and Oregon (Oct. 25). He is also considering Indiana and St. John’s.

    **JJ Traynor, the 6-foot-8 power forward from Bardstown (KY), will take his first official visit to Louisville this weekend (Oct. 4). Traynor will also take an unofficial visit to Kentucky next weekend (Oct. 11).

    **Jamal Mashburn Jr., the 6-foot-2 pound guard from Brewster (N.H.) Academy, takes his second official visit to Minnesota this weekend (Oct. 5). Mashburn took his first official visit to California (Sept. 27) and has a visit planned to Wake Forest (Oct. 26).

    **Rondel Walker, the 6-foot-2 shooting guard from Putnam City (OK) West, trips to Kansas State this weekend (Oct. 5). Walker has previously taken visits to Oklahoma State (Sept. 7) and Virginia Tech (Sept. 13).

    **Jamari Sibley, the 6-foot-8 power forward from Oak Hill (VA) Academy, will visit Georgetown this weekend (Oct. 4) for his third official visit. Sibley has previously taken official visits to Minnesota (Sept. 13) and Iowa (Sept. 27).

    **Mekhi Gray, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Putnam Science Academy (CT), takes his second official visit to NJIT this weekend (Oct. 5-7). Gray took his first official visit to Siena (Sept. 27-29) and will visit Fairfield (Oct. 12-14).

    **Efton Reid, the 7-foot center from Steward School (VA), trips to Ohio State this weekend (Oct. 4-6) for his first official visit.
