Chris Clemons became the ninth 3,000-point scorer in Division 1 history on Saturday night when he went for 28 points in a 76-71 loss to Presbyterian.

Campbell is now 15-11, 8-4 in the Big South.

“It’s still kinda surreal right now,” Clemons told Andy Katz.

Clemons is now No. 9 on the all-time D-1 scoring list, with “Pistol” Pete Maravich at No. 1 despite playing just three years and without a shot clock or with the benefit of the 3-point line.
