    Michael Weathers committed to Oklahoma State and new coach Mike Boynton on Sunday.

    The 6-foot-2 freshman point guard out of Miami (Ohio) also considered Boise State, Tulsa and Miami.

    He averaged 16.7 points, 4.8 assists and 4.2 rebounds last season en route to MAC Rookie of the Year honors. He will sit one season to play three.
