    Share Zagsblog Share Zagsblog
In past years, the Metro Classic at Kean University in New Jersey has featured future NBA players Karl-Anthony Towns, Ben Simmons and Wade Baldwin.

This season’s event — slated for Feb. 10-11 back at Kean — will once again be loaded, with national powers Montverde Academy (FL) and Oak Hill Academy (VA) joining New Jersey powers St. Benedict’s, St. Anthony’s, Roselle Catholic and Hudson Catholic, among others.

Montverde features Class of 2019 Canadian stars Andrew Nembhard and R.J. Barrett.

Oak Hill’s roster includes five Division 1-bound seniors in Lindell Wigginton (Iowa State), Ty-Shonn Alexander (Creighton), Devontae Shuler (Ole Miss), Matt Coleman (Texas) and Billy Preston (Kansas).

St. Benedict’s includes Syracuse-bound senior big man Bourama Sidibe, as well as younger stars like Precious Achiuwa and Matt Cotton.

Roselle Catholic stars Temple-bound senior point guard Nate Pierre-Louis and Class of 2018 big man Naz Reid.

Hudson Catholic includes junior stars Jahvon Quinerly, Louis King and Luther Muhammad.

After the Metro Classic, Oak Hill will stick around for the PrimeTime Shootout on Feb. 12 at Roselle Catholic. The highlight of that event figures to be a matchup between The Patrick School and Archbishop Molloy. The Patrick School features Kentucky-bound big man Nick Richards, senior guards Jamir Harris (Minnesota) and Marcus McClary (Monmouth). Molloy stars 7-1 junior Moses Brown as well as junior wing Khalid Moore and sophomore point guard Cole Anthony.

The Ranney School, with sophomore stars Bryan Antoine and Scottie Lewis, will also be on display at the Shootout.
