Myles Cale, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Middletown (DE) Appoquinimink, committed to Seton Hall on Friday, he told SNY.tv.

Ranked the No. 31 shooting guard in the Class of 2017 by 247Sports.com, Cale also considered Xavier, James Madison, Temple, St. Joe’s and Delaware. He is Seton Hall’s first 2017 commit.

“The coaching staff [at Seton Hall] is phenonmenal and the brotherly love between the players motivated me to wanting to be a Seton Hal Pirate,” he said.

“I think I can bring leadership and heart to the team and great athleticism. I can’t wait.”

Seton Hall plays Xavier Friday night in the Big East semifinals at Madison Square Garden.
