Nate Adrian, a 6-foot-8 2013 forward from Morgantown (WV) High, has verbally pledged to the Mountaineers.

“I have always wanted to stay home and be able to have the opportunity to play in front of all my friends and family,” he said by text. “Being able to play for a coach like Coach [Bob] Huggins is a huge honor so it’s an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.”

Speaking of West Virginia, Huggins and assistant Larry Harrison will visit 6-6 2012 Virginia shooting guard Andrew White Friday.
