Quincy Miller wants to play with his buddy Deuce Bello in college.

The 6-foot-9 1/2, 210-pound Miller isn’t sure if the two Westchester (N.C.) Country Day teammates will wind up together, but that would be their preference.

“We’ve got to find a school that fits both our styles,” Miller, the No. 1 power forward in the Class of 2011, said by phone from the Boost Mobile Elite 24 game in Venice Beach, Calif.

Right now it looks like Louisville could fit the bill.

Miller has an official lined up for the Big East school Sept. 4 and he and Bello cancelled a Sept. 12 official to Baylor.

“Right now we only got the Louisville visit,” Miller said.

Asked what he liked about Louisville, Miller said: “Their style of play. Coach [Rick] Pitino knows how to develop his players. He has different forwards like Terrence Williams [who made the NBA].”

Still, Miller is also considering Baylor, Kentucky, Wake Forest, Kansas, UCLA, Marquette, Duke and Oklahoma.

Yet he isn’t sure if he and Bello , a 6-3, 170-pound shooting guard, will join him.

‘We don’t know yet,” Miller said. “We don’t know if we’re going to the same school yet. I would like to play together but it probably won’t be best for us.”
