Duke got a double-dose of good news on Saturday when juniors Josh Hairston and Tyler Thornton both committed to the Blue Devils during a visit.

Hairston (pictured) is a 6-foot-8, 210-pound power forward from Spotsylvania (VA) Courtland ranked No. 6 among power forwards in the class of 2010. He chose Duke over Georgetown, Ohio State, Virginia and Virginia Tech.

Thornton is a 6-2 point guard from Washington (DC) Gonzaga ranked No. 14 among point guards by Rivals. He picked Duke over Georgetown, Stanford, Villanova and Virginia.

Hairston and Thornton join shooting guard Andre Dawkins in Duke’s 2010 class. Look for Coach K now to target Brandon Knight and Harrison Barnes.
