They need to settle on an 8-9 man rotation, playing 11 guys is hurting them.

in december, they looked like a team in midseason (February) form.

in february, they look like a sloppy december team. turnovers, defensive breakdowns, lack of cohesiveness (which has alot to do with the rotation)
i hope they snap out of it, because if not they will lose in the first round.

I was wondering beforehand if they were going to play the Claritin commercial, the Toyota commercial, or the theme intro to CSI. I was pretty sure they weren't gonna play the JC Penney commercial since "Let My Love Open the Door" was Townshend solo and not The Who. Let me put it another way. If Pete Townshend has so little respect for his music/songs that he's willing to give 'em up to anyone who writes a big enough check, then why should I have any respect for it? And on a related note, why hasn't any rock journalist called him out on it and at least asked him why the "show me the money" approach to all these songs that at one time had at least a fair amount of meaning for onetime kids like myself? I could understand it a little better if he said, "I got divorced 8 times", or "I snorted it all up my nose", or "I invested in the wrong Nigerian oil and gas venture", and so I'm broke and need the dough. Meanwhile, John Mellencamp gets absolutely vilified for the "This is Our Country" Chevy campaign. At least he had the guts to stand up and say that he felt he couldn't get any airplay in this day and age and this was another avenue through which to get his music heard. The Who are a joke and have been since their first "farewell tour". Too bad it wasn't. And next time I hear the trumpet flourishes from "Tommy" announcing how Claritin can help me, I think I'll quickly change the channel and hum a line or 2 from "Won't Get Fooled Again".

JHawk,

What is WRONG with Rick Barnes, Texass....WEAK TEAM!

Texass starting the season with some easy wins.

If you have not noticed, Texass schedule philosophy is get WEAK opponents.

And this WEAK scheduling approaching is costing the team, during the final stretch run.

Rick Barnes can not coach up and is undergoing a 5 out of 7 losses.

And Rick is not better against RANKED teams....1 vs 3.

There is NO way these players are getting better nor gettitng ready for the NBA....

WEAK schedule produces WEAK players.

What do you say?

Miller is a good coach, FYI in the last 25 years, KU has 7 Final Fours and two NCAA Championships so it's not just a 3-4 year thing. And you've had a lot more "NBA" talent as most of your Point Guard U fans have pointed out.

I guess I didn't make it clear with using beardown in my username, I am also an Arizona fan.

I also am not delusional like JessieWildcat and I know Arizona is no where near KU in basketball the last 3-4 years. I went to see KU play Memphis and I thought and still think they are the best team in the country.

I do see Arizona eventually going back to that level where KU is right now. There is not one PAC 10 team that is in better shape for the long run than we are. Sean Miller is already doing great in recruiting and whether or not we get Lamb or Selby, it is pretty remarkable to think a 12-11 team is even in the final group of schools these recruits are considering.

What does it mean? It means I'm giving him a taste of his own medicine. I'm sorry that you can't figure that one out. Then again, you do live in Misery.

I'm sick of him always ripping on KU with his Gangsta U crap. His team sucks and he has no inside info.

St. John's only stays on the list if Norm gets canned. The day the school announces that it will retain Norm is when Hinds will cut them.

As much as I think JessieWildcat is crazy which he is, RockChalkWoody, you are taking it to another level. I don't know where either one of you get your info but I don't think any of it is credible. What does it mean that the Midwest can now confirm Arizona is out of Selby Sweepstakes. If either one of you could give me links to actual sources, it would help me believe either you. And BTW, I live in Missouri (the Midwest) and I am hearing that Arizona is just as in it for Selby as KU or anyone.

Reggie Rankin, (not Ranking), has a lot of credibility. He's been an assistant coach on seven teams in 13 years so obviously he has trouble maintaining a job (something I'm sure you're familiar with Jessie).

Knight to UK
Selby to KU

Jessie, maybe you can get Lamb?
