NEW YORK – During a hearing Monday morning in Brooklyn Criminal Court, the sexual assault case involving Lance Stephenson and Darwin “Buddha” Ellis was adjourned until July 15.
Attorneys for both sides huddled briefly before Judge Alexander Jeong said, “We will meet on July 15.”
Jeong had previously adjourned the case once, to Monday from May 19.

Former Duke guard Elliot Williams is headed to Memphis.
“I’m a Memphis Tiger,” Williams told the Memphis Commercial Appeal in a text.
“The most important thing in this situation was coming closer to my family,” Williams said today. “As far as basketball, I’m playing for a great coach in [Memphis head coach Josh] Pastner.
“I mean, I’m playing [...]

New York point guard Lamont “Momo” Jones committed to Arizona Wednesday, choosing the PAC-10 school over Florida.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Jones is the No. 11 point guard in the Class of 2009.
He initially committed to Louisville, then Virginia Tech and then USC, but secured his release from Southern Cal after Tim Floyd resigned in the wake [...]
Lance Stephenson will graduate from Lincoln High School in Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon, his future awash in uncertainty.
Just over 24 hours later, the NBA Draft will take place just 10 miles away at Madison Square Garden.
Had Stephenson graduated in 2004 instead of 2009, he likely would be hearing NBA commissioner David Stern utter his [...]

As I reported last week, Memphis may be the last major option for Lance Stephenson. And even Memphis head coach Josh Pastner hasn’t heard much lately from Lance Sr.
Andy Katz is reporting that a source close to the Florida International program says they are no longer recruiting the 6-foot-5 Stephenson.
Actually, I reported this more than [...]

Great story by the fellas over at the Daily News today on Lance Stephenson and where he may end up.
The story examines a number of factors complicating Lance’s recruitment, from his father to his pending sexual assault case to the BornReady.tv website to his academics to his on-court demeanor.
At this point, Florida, Kansas, Maryland and [...]
New York City star Doron Lamb says Kentucky will be among his Final Five when it comes time to take visits.
“I have a good relationship with [assistant] coach [Orlando] Antigua and [Rod] Strickland,” the 6-foot-5 Lamb told Jody Demling of the Louisville Courier Journal. “Coach [John] Calipari called me, and we talked a long time. [...]

**For more on Memphis, read my feature on Tyreke Evans here.**
Memphis could be the last team standing in the Lance Stephenson Sweepstakes.
With Florida, St. John’s, Kansas, Maryland and possibly Arizona all out, Memphis may have the best chance to land the 6-foot-5 Stephenson.
“If the kid wants to come here, Memphis will take him. There’s no [...]
New York point guard Lamont “Momo” Jones spent the last couple of days visiting Florida and will land in Arizona Thursday night.
The 5-foot-11 Jones got his release from USC after Tim Floyd stepped down and will likely land at Arizona or Florida. Memphis is also interested but sources say he likely won’t land there.
Jones’ Godfather [...]

GREENBURGH, N.Y. – OK, now I officially have no idea where Lance Stephenson is going to college.
Just a week after I said I thought Maryland was the leader [...]
