Brandon Knight, the top prospect in the Class of 2010, may well wait until the late signing period next spring.
“Looks that way,” Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Pine Crest coach Dave Beckerman wrote in a text.
The early signing period runs Nov. 11-18.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Knight took an official to Kansas last weekend and Beckerman confirmed that Knight [...]

When Midnight Madness tips off around the nation Friday night, many of the top New York-area prospects won’t be in the Big Apple.

“I’m excited, it should be good,” said Dix Hills (N.Y.) Half Hollow Hills West forward Tobias Harris, who leaves Friday for Kentucky’s “Big Blue Madness.”
“I heard it’s a really great atmosphere [...]

C.J. Leslie’s high school coach says Leslie has a list of about 11 schools and that there is no clear leader at this point.
“C.J. is still wide open with his recruitment. He doesn’t have a strong leader,” Raleigh (NC) Word of God coach Erasto Hatchett said Friday. “He’s still entertaining about 10 schools as of right [...]

The 6-foot-2 Irving loved his visit to Duke this past weekend but still plans to take his next scheduled official visit to Texas A&M Oct. 9. After that, Irving is [...]

Turgenia Knight, the mother of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Pine Crest guard Brandon Knight, says the family loved last weekend’s official visit to Kentucky and that six schools are in the mix for her son.
“The Kentucky visit was wonderful,” she said by phone.
“It was a very nice, kind of informal visit, to be honest. It was [...]
