Joe Cremo, the Albany grad transfer, has committed to Villanova and will be immediately eligible.

“It felt like family and a place where I can really fit in,” Cremo, who also visited Kansas, told ZAGSBLOG.

Cremo averaged 17.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists last season.

He provides valuable insurance for the reigning NCAA champion Wildcats, especially if Donte DiVincenzo remains in the NBA Draft. DiVincenzo is one of four Villanova players in next week’s NBA Draft combine.
