Miami landed its third transfer this offseason on Thursday when Zach Johnson, the 6-foot-2 guard from Florida Gulf Coast, verbally committed to the Hurricanes.

Johnson averaged 16.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists last season. He is immediately eligible as a grad transfer.

Miami previously landed Oklahoma transfer Kam McGusty, the 6-5 sophomore who averaged 8.0 points and 1.9 rebounds last season, and 6-6 Wyoming transfer Anthony Mack, who will seek a waiver to play immediately this season.

These additions will help offset the losses of NBA-bound guards Bruce Brown and Lonnie Walker.
