  • Keenan Evans drops 38 and game-winner as No. 10 Texas Tech takes out Texas

    The legend of Keenan Evans grows.

    The senior guard went for 38 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists, including this game-winning jumper at the buzzer in overtime, as No. 10 Texas Tech beat Texas, 73-71, in overtime Wednesday night.

    Evans shot 9-of-13 from the field and 18-of-20 from the line.

    Evans was coming off a 31-point outing against South Carolina on Saturday, and has scored 95 points in his last three games.

    The rest of the Texas Tech team (18-4, 6-3 Big 12) scored a total of 35 points.

    Mohamed Bamba had 12 points, 10 boards and 7 blocks for Texas (14-8, 4-5) before fouling out. His 11 double-doubles leads the Big 12.
