Multiple college freshmen highlight the 2018 Oscar Robertson Trophy Watch List.

Among the freshman are DeAndre Ayton of Arizona, Marvin Bagley III of Duke, Mohamed Bamba of Texas, Trevon Duval and Wendell Carter Jr. of Duke, Hamidou Diallo and Kevin Knox of Kentucky, Michael Porter Jr. of Missouri and Collin Sexton of Alabama.

Among the non-freshmen are Miles Bridges of Michigan State, Devonte’ Graham of Kansas, Angel Delgado of Seton Hall, Bonzie Colson of Notre Dame, Jalen Brunson of Villanova and Grayson Allen of Duke.

The award is to be presented to the national player of the year by its namesake at the NCAA Final Four in San Antonio. In mid-March, the USBWA will announce its 2017-18 All-America Team and, at that time, finalists will also be chosen for the player of the year. Once finalists are announced, the entire USBWA membership will vote for the winner of the Oscar Robertson Trophy.
