Darius Days , the 6-foot-7 power forward from IMG Academy (FL), committed to LSU on Friday.

Ranked the No. 58 power forward by 247Sports.com, Days also visited North Carolina this month.

“It felt like home,” Days told Scout.com. “I felt more comfortable there. I just feel like that’s the place to me.”

IMG Academy coach Sean McAloon said Days will help LSU space the floor.

“He shoots the ball so well that immediately their spacing gets better when he steps on campus,” McAloon said. “Combine that with his work ethic, willingness to learn, and competitive fire and LSU got a gem.”

Days joins power forward Naz Reid and combo guard Javonte Smart in Will Wade’s 2018 class.

“I feel like we can be really good,” he told Scout. “You can’t really put positions on us, well maybe Javonte is a one or two, but me and Naz can play every position on the court. It’s a mismatch everywhere on the court with me and him.”

“I want to play the three, but I do think I’d be more successful at the four spot, just doing what I always do on the court.”
