Following a recent workout with his hometown New York Knicks, Kentucky guard Isaiah Briscoe worked out on Monday for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 6-foot-3 former Roselle (N.J.) Catholic star worked out alongside Maryland’s Melo Trimble, George Washington’s Tyler Cavanaugh, Tennessee State’s Tahjere McCall, and Middle Tennessee State’s Reggie Upshaw.

Briscoe, not currently projected to be drafted per DraftExpress.com, averaged 12.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists last season at Kentucky.

“I think I bring a lot to the table,” Briscoe told Brian Seltzer of Sixers.com, “not only scoring, passing, playing defense, [but] being a leader.”

At Kentucky, Briscoe played alongside De’Aaron Fox, whom the Sixers will work out next week. Briscoe believes he’s a point guard at the next level, even if he won’t go as high as Fox.

“I feel like I’m always vocal, the leader of the team, ball-dominant. Who wouldn’t like the ball in their hands?,” he said. “Whatever team picks me up, I’ll try to come in and contribute however I can.”

Looking ahead, he has workouts with Detroit, Portland, Chicago and the Lakers.
