Silver said Utah’s Larry Krystowiak saw Baker last week and that Arizona’s Sean Miller, Oregon’s Dana Altman and Marquette’s Steve Wojciechowski are all expected in soon. “Jemarl is one of the best guards in the country,” Silver said. “He’s a pure knock-down shooter and a proven winner with a tremendous upside.” Kentucky has a five-man recruiting class that includes guards Quade Green and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and remains in the mix for Tampa (FL) Catholic small forward Kevin Knox. Knox had narrowed his list to Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina and Florida State, but recently announced a visit this coming weekend to Missouri.2017 Jemarl Baker Corona Roosevelt Top 9. As he seeks to add to his incoming recruiting class, Kentucky coach John Calipari on Friday will visit Jemarl Baker, a 6-4 shooting guard from Los Angeles (CA) Theodore Roosevelt, his AAU coach told ZAGSBLOG.
Baker recently obtained his release from Cal after the coaching change and now has a list of nine schools.
