    NEW YORK — Jay Wright wore a flawless Navy blue suit and a huge smile on his face as he stood in the center of the Madison Square Garden floor basking in his team’s latest championship victory in the Big East Tournament.

    The Villanova coach was thoroughly enjoying the first half of what was a historic basketball night in New York City. For the first time, the Big Apple hosted two major conference championship games in the same night.
