The Brooklyn Nets have requested waivers on forward Anthony Bennett, the No. 1 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

Bennett appeared in 23 games with the Nets this season, averaging 5.0 points and 3.4 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game. He was originally signed as a free agent by the Nets on July 14.

Brooklyn’s roster now stands at 14 players, but they will reportedly sign Quincy Acy to a 10-day deal, per ESPN.

The Nets own the NBA’s worst record at 8-28, but their draft picks are owned by Boston.

It’s unclear where Bennett goes from here. Regarded as arguably the biggest bust ever for a No. 1 pick, he has now been let go by four teams (including trades): Cleveland, Minnesota, Toronto and the Nets.
