Kansas coach Bill Self flew to Norman, Oklahoma on Thursday to watch 2017 point guard target Trae Young.

Young responded by going for 40 points, 11 steals and 5 assists through three quarters for Norman (OK) North in a win over Oklahoma City Knight.

Young is also considering Oklahoma and Oklahoma State and is expected to sign in the spring.

Kansas, meantime, remains in the mix for fellow 2017 point guard Trevon Duval, who has a final five of Duke, Kansas, Arizona, Baylor and Seton Hall.
