    Jay Jay Chandler, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Katy (TX) Cinco Ranch, signed with Texas A&M on Wednesday, the last day of the early signing period.

    The No. 26 shooting guard in the Class of 2017 per 247Sports.com, he also considered Georgia, Georgia Tech and Western Kentucky.

    “The coaching staff made it feel like family,” he told Scout. “It’s close to home so there’s no problem for family and friends to watch me play. The class that they have coming in is going to be something special.”

    Chandler joins point guard T.J. Starks, small forward Savion Flagg and center Isiah Jasey in the Aggies’ 2017 class.
