Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said his trio of star freshmen forwards – Jayson Tatum, Marques Bolden and Harry Giles – won’t play on Tuesday against No. 3 Kansas in the Champions Classic at Madison Square Garden.

    All three are battling injuries.

“I don’t anticipate these guys playing on Tuesday, and they might not play all week,” Krzyzewski said of his freshman trio after the No. 1 Blue Devils routed Grand Canyon 96-61, per the Duke Chronicle.

More than 50 NBA scouts are expected Tuesday for the matchups between No. 2 Kentucky and No. 12 Michigan State and Duke and Kansas.
