  • Recruiting Roundup: Weekend Visits and Tidbits

    Here’s a look towards this weekend’s recruiting visits and other news. This list will be updated throughout the weekend. 

    **Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 6-foot-5 1/2 point guard from Chattanooga (TN) Hamilton Heights Christian Academy, is visiting Kentucky beginning Friday. For more on Alexander and Kentucky, read this.

    **Lonnie Walker, the 6-5, 206-pound shooting guard from Reading (PA) High School, will take his fourth official visit to Kentucky this weekend (Nov. 5). Walker has previously taken officials to Miami (Sept. 30), Arizona (Oct. 14), and Villanova (Oct. 28). He also has plans to visit Syracuse later this month (Nov. 11). 

    **P.J. Washington, the 6-8 forward from Frisco, Texas and Findlay Prep (NV), will take his final official visit to UNLV this weekend and is expected to decide during the NCAA early signing period. He also visited Kentucky and UNC. Read more here.

    **Rayshaun Hammonds, the 6-7 power forward from Norcross (GA) High School, trips to Georgia this weekend (Nov. 4) for his fourth official visit after cancelling his UConn visit. Hammonds has already taken visits to Texas (Sept. 9), Memphis (Sept. 23) and Miami (Oct. 7). 

    **David Beatty, a 6-3 combo guard from Imhotep Institute (PA) Charter High School, takes his third official visit to Indiana this weekend (Nov. 4). Beatty has taken officials to Georgetown (Oct. 7) and South Carolina (Oct. 28). He is also considering UConn and Maryland. 

    **Felipe Haase, a 6-10 center from Miami (FL) Christian, visits South Carolina this weekend. A native of Chile, he’s also considering Louisville, Pitt, Purdue and Missouri.

    **Andrew Platek, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Northfield Mount Hermon (MA) and the Albany City Rocks, who has committed to North Carolina visits UNC this weekend.

    **Garrison Brooks, a 6-9 power forward from Auburn (AL), is on an official to North Carolina, as first reported by 247Sports.com.

    **Torrence Watson, a 6-4 Class of 2018 shooting guard from Whitfield (MO), visits Notre Dame this week, as first reported by Corey Evans.
