Noah Dickerson, a 6-foot-8 power forward from Montverde (FL) Academy, committed to Georgetown on Saturday.

“Proud to say I committed to Georgetown University #hoyasaxa,” he Tweeted.

The Georgia big man is ranked the No. 11 power forward in the Class of 2015 by 247Sports and also reportedly  considered  Ohio State, Duke, Virginia, Alabama, Georgia Tech and Xavier.

Hoyas coach John Thompson III visited Dickerson last month and apparently that visit helped sway the decision.

The Hoyas already have one 2015 pledge in Fairfax (VA) Paul VI power forward Marcus Derrickson.
