Elijah Burns is one of the top small forwards in the Northeast in the Class of 2015. He will be contributing periodically to ZAGSBLOG going forward. Here is his second Player Blog.

Since the first weekend of the EYBL has come to an end I will give an update on my recruitment and my trip to Germany. For starters I was not in Sac-town last weekend, I was in Mannheim, Germany representing my country at the Albert Schweitzer games.

We placed second behind Italy with a close game in the final. It’s tough to make it all the way to the final and not finish it out right but it happens sometimes. I can take a lot away from the trip, though. I met a lot of awesome people. It was a great experience to be able to play overseas and something that I hope to do again someday.

Now on to the recruiting. Lately I have been offered by Notre Dame and I am receiving heavy interest from Northwestern, Vanderbilt, VCU, and Saint Louis, among others. I also have planned to officially visit Notre Dame in the fall.
