Nick FaustMaryland junior guard Nick Faust is transferring to Oregon State, sources told SNY.tv.

The 6-foot-6 Baltimore native averaged 9.4 points and 3.7 rebounds last season for the Terps.

As per NCAA transfer rules, he must sit out next season and will finish his college career in 2015-16.

The No. 48-ranked player out of high school, Faust is the highest-ranked player out of high school to commit to Oregon State coach Craig Robinson.

Former Maryland big man Shaq Cleare previously announced he would transfer to Texas, while freshman guard Roddy Peters has yet to pick a new school.
