Blair Academy wing Marial Shayok has received his release from Marquette and holds offers from several schools.

The 6-foot-6 Canadian wing received an offer from Indiana on Thursday, Blair coach Joe Mantegna Tweeted.

Shayok also holds offers from Rutgers, Virginia, Michigan and Marquette, Mantegna told SNY.tv. But Makur Shayok, Marial’s father, told SNY.tv that no schools had reached out directly to him or his son.

Shayok asked for his release after the coaching change in which Buzz Williams left for Virginia Tech and was replaced by Duke’s Steve Wojciechowski.

He committed to Marquette in October.

Mantegna also Tweeted that 2015 Blair forward Elijah Burns picked up an offer from Notre Dame.
