  • Turner, Kennard, Jeter Highlight Big Recruiting Weekend at Duke

    Myles Turner, Luke Kennard and Chase Jeter are among the big names who will visit Duke this weekend for the North Carolina game on Saturday.

    The 6-foot-11 Turner is the top uncommitted player in the Class of 2014 and will trip to Kansas Wednesday and then Duke on the weekend. He has already visited Ohio State and Oklahoma State officially, and Texas A&M and SMU unofficially.

    His father, David Turner, told SNY.tv his son still plans to visit Texas and may also visit Kentucky.

    Kennard, a 6-5 2015 shooting guard who averaged 40 points per game this season, will also attend, his father confirmed to SNY.tv.

    He is also considering  Kentucky, Ohio State, Louisville, Michigan, Florida and North Carolina.

    Jeter, a 6-10 2015 center, will visit Duke following an unofficial visit to Arizona this past weekend.

    “Of course, Duke loves Chase,” Clay Williams of Dream Vision told SNY.tv. “Duke really likes Chase Jeter.”

    Arizona, Louisville, Kansas, UCLA and North Carolina are among those also involved.

    Harry Giles, a 6-9 forward and one of the top players in the Class of 2016, will also visit, according to Blue Devil Digest. Kentucky and North Carolina are also recruiting him hard.
    2016 shooting guard Josh Langford is also expected to attend, according to Blue Devil Digest.
