DePaul announced that senior forward Cleveland Melvin is no longer enrolled at the school and is no longer part of the basketball program.

The 6-foot-8 senior led DePaul in scoring (16.7 ppg) and rebounds (6.4), but had missed the last four games because of an unspecified violation of team rules.

Melvin is ranked among DePaul’s all-time leaders in scoring, scoring average, rebounding, field goals, blocked shots and free throws. He has played in 110 career games and was the 2011 Big East Rookie of the Year.

DePaul (10-14, 2-9 Big East) has dropped six in a row.
