Louisville transfer Chane Behanan is headed to Colorado State and will be eligible in December, Bleacher Report reported.

“I respect Coach [Larry] Eustachy and what he’s been through,” Behanan told Jason King of Bleacher Report. “We have a good connection.”

The 6-foot-6 Behanan is currently getting treatment for personal issues at John Lucas’ facility in Houston.

“I’m working on becoming a leader instead of a follower,” Behanan said. “I’m getting to know myself better.”

Behanan averaged 7.6 points and 6.3 rebounds this season at Louisville.

He was a huge part of Louisville’s NCAA championship run last season, averaging 12.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in the national semifinals and final.
