Trevin and Trevon Woods, a pair of 6-foot-6 twins from Stephen F. Austin (TX) High School, verbally committed to LIU-Brooklyn on Monday.

The twins also considered Texas-Arlington and Oral Roberts.

LIU head coach Jack Perri and assistant Chuck Bridge had been recruiting the twins for a while.

“It just felt right, honestly,” Trevin told SNY.tv. “We took our time with the whole process and weighed our options and they just seem like the right fit for us. Coach Perri sees us as great players and I believe our presence on the wings can really set LIU on a good pace in the NCAA Tournament.”

LIU-Brooklyn has enjoyed a pipeline to Texas, and the current roster has four players from the state.
