Huntington (W.V.) Prep shooting guard JaQuan Lyle has decommitted from Louisville.

“It’s official..I’m de-committed from the University of Louisville. I appreciate Coach P, the staff, and the fans for the support,” he Tweeted.

The news was first reported by Yahoo! Sports in a story that was later taken down.

The 6-foot-5 Lyle out of Indiana initially chose Louisville over Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio State, Tennessee and UCLA. The Courier-Journal reported that Lyle said he would still consider Louisville if the Cardinals continued to recruit him.

He is the second Louisville pledge to decommit in recent weeks, following Quentin Snider, who decommitted in July and then chose Illinois this week.
