Quentin Snider will announce his college choice tonight, his father confirmed to SNY.tv Thursday morning.

Scott Snider said he wasn’t sure if his son would hold a press conference or how he would announce it.

It appears that Snider will choose either UCLA or Illinois since those are the last two home visits he had. He was originally going to visit Michigan State this weekend and UConn after that, but those won’t be necessary now.

“UCLA came in the home [Tuesday] night and the visit was good,” Scott Snider told SNY.tv Wednesday. “Illinois came in the night before and that visit was also good.”

UCLA remains a strong possibility and recent UCLA pledge Trevon Bluiett has been working to get Snider to join him in L.A.

Snider is also friendly with Illinois guard Aaron Cosby, a fellow Louisville native who hosted him on his visit last weekend and goes back with Snider to their younger days.

Snider recently cut his list to Illinois, Michigan State, UCLA, UConn, Oklahoma State, USC and Cincinnati.
