Former Louisville commit Quentin Snider will take an official visit to Illinois this weekend, his father confirmed to SNY.tv.

“Yes, official visit,” he said by text.

The 6-foot-1 point guard from Louisville Ballard High recently cut his list to Cincinnati, Illinois, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, UCLA, UConn and USC.

Snider tripped to UCLA last weekend, when Indianapolis (IN) Park Tudor small forward Trevon Bluiett pledged to the Bruins.

At the time, Scott Snider said Bluiett was working on getting Quentin to join him.

Snider will also take an official to UConn Sept. 20.
