LeRon Black is off the board.

The 6-foot-7 power forward from Memphis White Station committed to Illinois on a weekend visit, his AAU coach, Norton Hurd, told SNY.tv.

“He is a five-star player who is the hardest worker with the highest motor in the country,” Hurd said.

Black was also considering Baylor, Indiana and Tennessee. He was slated to visit Baylor next weekend and Indiana later this month.

Black joins 6-9 power forward Michael Finke in coach John Groce’s 2014 recruiting class.
