Rutgers guard Jerome Seagears has gotten his release and has a long list of suitors.

“I have my full release from rutgers. I am very excited to explore my options. My Hs coach @ flora MacDonald will be helping me now!” he Tweeted.

Darrick Bond, Seagears’ coach at Flora MacDonald (N.C.) Academy, said Arkansas, Auburn, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Boston College, Georgia Tech, Seton Hall and Minnesota were interested.

The 6-foot-1 native of Silver Springs, MD averaged 6.5 points and 2.6 assists. He opted to transfer in the wake of the Mike Rice video scandal.
