Rutgers sophomore wing Malick Kone will transfer, a source with direct knowledge confirmed to SNY.tv.

Alex Kline first reported the news.

The 6-foot-5 native of Guinea averaged 2.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 28 games this season.

Rutgers also loses seniors Dane Miller and Austin Johnson and plans on bringing in four commits.

They already have pledges from point guard Shane Rector and JUCO wings Chris Griffin and Craig Brown.

Mike Rice’s club used just 12 scholarship players this past season.
