  • The Rolling Stones will play two shows in Brooklyn in December with good seats going for $500 a pop, according to a report on Showbiz411.com.

The band turned 50 this year and has yet to perform publicly in 2012, but that could soon change.

According to the report, the Stones will get $25 million for four total shows, two in London in November and the two shows at the Brooklyn Barclays Center.

If that’s the case, that’s a huge coup for the Barclays in terms of outdoing Madison Square Garden for arguably the biggest band in the history of rock ‘n’ roll.

Hallice Cooke, one of the top shooting guards in the Class of 2013 out of the Sports U AAU program and two-time defending New Jersey Tournament of Champions winner St. Anthony, will be contributing periodically to ZAGSBLOG entering his senior season. Here’s his fourth entry:

    How’s it going, basketball world?

As school approaches I’ve spent the last couple of weeks relaxing and spending time with my family. I’ve had a great summer playing basketball. I finished up playing basketball in Boston and in the Poconos. Boston was great. I spent two days with several NBA players: John Wall, Jason Terry, Jameer Nelson, Ramon Sessions, Maalik Wayns, Isaiah Thomas, and Dionte Christmas. It was a great way to end my summer, I learned a lot from the pros and got to see where my game is.

Wade Baldwin, one of the top shooting guards in the Class of 2014 out of the Sports U AAU program and St. Joe’s-Metuchen High School, will be contributing periodically to ZAGSBLOG entering his junior season. Here’s his first entry:

    Whats up, basketball world?

I’m the new guy to look out for on the circuit!

This AAU season was a blessing for me to play against some of the best kids in the entire country and play against the best teams. I went to Hoop Group Camp, The Reebok Breakout Challenge, and the Under Armour grind session. All the camps had a lot of talent and thankfully I performed quite well in all of them.
