Rodney Hood has completed his weekend visit to Duke and could decide this week between Duke, Ohio State and Memphis.

The Mississippi State transfer enjoyed his Duke visit and one source told SNY.tv the Blue Devils are the “leader” for his services.

The 6-8 Hood, an all-SEC freshman pick last season, remains close with Ohio State’s LaQuinton Ross. Both are from Mississippi.

“They were on the same AAU team growing up together in Mississippi,” a second source told SNY.tv. “They’re really close. They’re really good friends.”

Hood also recently completed a visit to Memphis, which missed out on Virginia Tech transfer Dorian Finney-Smith when he picked Florida.

Hood averaged 10.3 points and 4.7 rebounds last season.
