Perry Ellis will keep his talents in state and play for the Kansas Jayhawks.
The 6-foot-8, 220-pound forward from Wichita Heights pledged to Kansas during a press conference Wednesday afternoon in his school gymnasium, choosing the Jayhawks over Kentucky, Kansas State and Wichita State.
“All these schools were real close to me,” said Ellis, the No. 24 prospect in the Rivals.com rankings. “They’ve been there three or four years now. It was a tough decision.”
