After initially saying he had cut his list to three schools, Kareem Canty has added Seton Hall to his original list of three.

“Because of [associate head coach Shaheen] Holloway being real cool and I like coach [Kevin] Willard,” Canty said by text.

The 6-foot, 185-pound Class of 2012 point guard from Harlem is also considering Miami, Xavier and Florida State.

He had previously considered other schools, including Providence and Dayton.

Canty plans to decide relatively soon, too.

“Before the [July] live period I think,” he said. “I don’t want to be anybody’s 3rd or 4th option.”
