BOSTON — If the Knicks are going to win Game 2 against the Boston Celtics, they will have to do it without veteran point guard Chauncey Billups.

“[He’s] very doubtful,” head coach Mike D’Antoni said Tuesday after shootaround. “Almost out.

“You hate to lose somebody like Chauncey definitely, but Toney [Douglas]‘s just gotta step up and play a lot more minutes.”

Billups had no MRI and no tests on his left knee. He could play Friday in Game 3 at MSG.
