Kevin Thomas, a 6-foot-7, 205-pound senior power forward from Creedmoor, N.C. Christian Faith Academy, will announce Texas as his college choice on Thursday, according to Alex Kline of The Recruit Scoop.

Thomas, who averaged 17 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks as a senior, also considered N.C. State, Wake Forest, New Mexico and Seton Hall.

Thomas is Canadian and the last three McDonald’s All-Americans from Canada — Tristan Thompson, Cory Joseph and Myck Kabongo, have all committed to Texas.

He joins Jonathan Holmes, Julien Lewis and Sheldon McClellan in Texas’ 2011 recruiting haul.
