    **Moussa Kone, a 6-foot-7, 209-pound wing from Frederick Douglass Academy III and the MetroHawks AAU program, verbally committed to Hofstra over Manhattan, ST. Peter’s and UMBC.
    “I loved the school,” Kone, who averaged 14 points and 11 boards last season said by text. “I feel that the coaching staff can better my skills to become an even better player.”
    **Eugene McCrory, a postgrad forward from CJEOTO, took an official to Hofstra this weekend.
    **Despite rumors he would open up his recruitment, 6-7 wing LaQuinton Ross of Burlington (N.J.) Life Center signed with Ohio State Sunday.
    **Syracuse-area junior big man DaJuan Coleman is at Sunday’s Canisius-Syracuse game, according to his AAU coach, Jim Hart. Coleman also attended the Northern Iowa-Syracuse game.
    **Kyle Anderson (pictured), the No. 1 point guard in the Class of 2012 out St. Anthony (N.J), visited UCLA this weekend and had a great time.
    **Perry Ellis ’12, a forward from Kansas, took an unofficial to Kentucky this weekend and enjoyed it.
    **Will Davis, a 6’9 post graduate at New Hampton (NH) just committed to Penn, according to a source. He chose Penn over Drexel & Delaware.
    **Ray Lee ‘12, a guard from Michigan, took an unofficial visit to Iowa State over the weekend.
    **Da’Shawn Suber ’12, a guard from New York, took an unofficial visit to Temple on Friday.
    **Desmond Hubert ’11, Justin Sears ’12, Matt Rennie ’12, Alex Mitola ’12, Bill Dooley ‘12, Jaren Sina ’13 were all in attendance for the Princeton-Rutgers basketball game Friday night.
    **Savon Goodman ’12, a forward from Pennsylvania, was in attendace for the Villanova season opener against Bucknell on Friday.
    **Jeremiah Davis ’11, a 6-3, 205-pound guard from Indiana, verbally committed to Cincinnati on Saturday night, according to his high school coach Rob Fulford of Huntington Prep (WV).
    “He is a very physical combo that is a great leader and winner,” Fulford said by text. “He has really improved his shooting and his overall game is really developing. He will be a great fit for Cincinnati and is definitely a Big East style player.”
    **Amir Williams ’11, a center from Michigan, took an official visit to Ohio State this weekend. He will sign during the early signing period.
    **Jordan Price ’12, a forward from Georgia, took an unofficial visit to Memphis this weekend.
    **Davon Reed ’13, a guard from New Jersey, took an unofficial visit to St. Joe’s for their season opener. They are close to offering.
    **Yogi Ferrell ’12, a guard from Indiana, cut his list down to six on his Twitter account. Ferrell is down to Wake Forest, Miami (FL), Indiana, Butler, Florida & Virginia. His good friend, Cody Zeller, committed to Indiana a few days ago.
    **Gary Harris ’12, a guard from Indiana, took an unofficial visit to Illinois on Saturday night for their game.
    **Maurice Watson ’12, a guard from Pennsylvannia, took an unofficial visit to Penn on Saturday night for their season opener.
    **Nkereuwem Okoro ’12, Kwanique Martin ’12, Jaren Sina ’13, Isaiah Lewis ’13, Kavon Stewart ’13, Hallice Cook ’13 & Brendan Boyle ’14 were in attendance for the Seton Hall game against Cornell on Sunday. Jarelle Reischel ’11, however, was not in attendance because of car trouble. Reischel is still down to Seton Hall, Rice & Penn State.
    **After watching Kiski Prep (PA) play on Saturday night, the Seton Hall staff offered scholarships to 7’4 Sim Bhullar ’12, 7’2 Tanveer Bhullar ’13 & 6’9 Stefan Jankovic ’12.
    **Rodney Purvis ’12, a guard from North Carolina, was in attendance for the Duke season opener against Princeton on Sunday.
    **Daniel Ochefu ’12, a forward from Pennsylvannia, was at Temple for the game against Toledo on Sunday.
    **Michael Klinger ’12, a guard from New Jersey, was on an unofficial visit to Lafayette on Sunday.
