Statistically its more of a "fluke" if he misses. Mario shoots 47% from 3. it wasnt a half court shot, or some prayer he threw up. it was a high percentage shot for him that just happened to be with 2 seconds left. If he makes the same shot with 15 minutes left nobody would remember because it was a normal shot. Chalmers also made an almost identical shot the year before vs Texas in the Big 12 title game with the game on the line. Barton is the #1 SG in 2010 and was one of Kentucky's top targets. I am sure the UK fans are real pleased with that.
