Zags do you think Providence has a legit shot at Parrom or are they basically a plan C, or D ?

Glad to see that the Hall picked up another recruit but would really love to see us get that back-up PF. I feel like we make our guards work way too hard to make up for the size difference we have with our competitors (especially in the Big East) and it really takes away from the full compliment of all they have to offer. With that said, if we can stay healthy and Big Melvyn O can take up some solid minutes off of Garcia's knees I think we could have a real shot of being a top 6 (best case scenario) and a solid chance of being in the top half of the BIG E. With a good season and a renewed support for Bobby G, I think the recruits will start flooding in. Lets start by picking up our guys at Seton Hall Prep, than we can work at grabbing all the Saint school studs.

Regards,
John

Forgetting Famous & Dixon for a moment, what do you think Seton Hall's chances are at landing either a Kyrie Irving, Ashton Pankey and/or Devon Collier during the '09 - '10 recruiting season? I see SHU with more than enough talent to compete next year, and I really think BG needs to prove he can land higher profile, top NJ high school players rather than relying on Jucos & transfers. While no one expected a high level recruit to sign this past year given his job uncertainty going into the season, I do think it is time for him to prove he can recruit at the high school level in the metropolitan area - any of these 3 players would help accomplish that. I think BG certainly proved this past year that he can coach, but I feel he needs to become a more well rounded recruiter.

Your thoughts, as always, are appreciated!
