  • Sherrod Wright to Visit George Mason; DeAndre Kane, Jarrid Famous Updates

    Here are a couple of quick updates on recruits who will sign in the late signing period.

    **Sherrod Wright, a 6-foot-4 wing out of Mount Vernon (N.Y.), will take an official visit this coming weekend to George Mason. Wright is also considering Seton Hall, South Florida, Central Florida, Manhattan, Fordham, Hofstra and Duquesne.

    **Former Seton Hall commit DeAndre Kane of The Patterson (N.C.) School is down to Marshall, Marquette and Rhode Island, according to Patterson coach Chris Chaney.

    “We’re setting up visits to Marquette and Rhode Island soon,” Chaney said. “He already went to Marshall a couple of weeks ago.”

    **Jarrid Famous, the 6-11 forward/center from Westchester (N.Y.) Community College, will take an official visit to South Florida beginning Thursday.
