Mount Vernon (N.Y.) senior wing Sherrod Wright is in the process of narrowing down his college options in the days leading up to the NCAA late signing period.

George Mason, Seton Hall, South Florida, Central Florida, Manhattan, Fordham, Hofstra and Duquesne are all possibilities, according to Mount Vernon coach Bob Cimmino.

“Those are the main players for him now,” Cimmino said Thursday. “I think he wants to sign in the April signing period.”

Wright had a home visit Wednesday with George Mason head coach Jim Larranaga and assistant Chris Caputo and by all accounts it went well.

Cimmino said he and Wright’s family were “in the process” of deciding which schools he would visit and hoped to have a schedule “done by Monday.”

Wright won’t visit any schools this weekend.

Wright scored 25 points last week in his final high school game, a 71-70 loss to Newburgh Free Academy in the Class AA state regional final.

He is expected to play in the Jordan Brand Regional Game April 18 at Madison Square Garden.
